Course Description

The purpose of the Certified Residential Medication Aide Bridge course is to provide individuals with a current 24 hour CRMA certificate a way to “Bridge” into the full 40 Hour certifications. Each participant must complete the standard CRMA Recertification training as well as complete a Medication Administration Pass supervised by a RN (registered nurse) in a licensed facility.

The course will test the participant’s knowledge of the following

  • Residents rights
  • State/Federal regulations regarding storage/handling of medications
  • Medical Terminology
  • Best Practices

*CRMA CERTIFICATION MUST BE NO MORE THAN 30 DAYS PAST EXPIRATION TO BE VALID

**RECERTIFICATION REQUIRED EVERY 2 YEARS

IMPORTANT NOTE: For individuals making a purchase of this training, you will need to register for the CRMA Recertification training ($85.00) {CRMA Recertification Link}.  The Registered Nurse will provide and confirm the med pass date with you after meeting the State requirements for the CRMA Recertification training.
