Individual and Family Treatment
Port Resources offers outpatient therapy services to children and adults in the greater Portland area at their Gannett Drive location and, when deemed therapeutically appropriate, in the client’s community or home. The service will begin with a comprehensive assessment of the client’s current functioning and identified concerns that are going to be addressed in treatment. The treatment can include working with caregivers and/or family members, when appropriate. Port Resources offers a variety of specialties and modalities, including play therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and many combinations of various modalities.
Group Treatment
Port Resources offers various group therapy options for adults throughout the year, including..Social Skills for young adults on the autism spectrum . and Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) groups. These groups often meet once a week for approximately 3 months and develop skills necessary to regulate emotions and practice them in a safe environment of the client’s peers.
