Benjamin Dailey
Board Member
I first heard about Port Resources from one of my coworkers who was a long time board member who was retiring. I have worked in finance and accounting jobs for a number of years and I thought my experience would help the board be able to better support the organization. I am a CPA doing tax planning and consulting at Marcum, LLP. It’s a national accounting firm that just moved into Portland, Maine last year. It’s a very demanding job, especially around the April 15th deadline, but it’s very rewarding.
Port Resources fulfills a tremendously important role in the community helping people live independently, and helping other nonprofits with training and other resources. As a board member it has been incredibly rewarding to work with a team who is so passionate about helping these people who too often fall through the social safety net.
