Our Board of Directors 

Dianne Procida - President
Dianne is an associate broker with Prudential Northeast Properties in Westbrook, Maine. In addition to serving on Port Resource’s Executive Board, Dianne is a member of the Female Samaritan’s, a Philanthropic Organization that serves the Greater Portland Area.  Dianne is a monthly volunteer at the Wayside Soup Kitchen, St Pius X Parish Community Suppers, and currently leads the music ministry for Children at St. Pius X Church. Originally from Massachusetts, Dianne has resided in Portland with her family for 24 years.

David Hill - Vice President
David joined the board of Port Resources in 2005.  After graduating from Southern Maine Community College David worked for Verizon for 35 years until his retirement in 2002.  David and his wife Donna reside in Gorham and have two grown children.  One of David’s daughters is a consumer at Port Resources and we are fortunate that David volunteers his passion and commitment to our mission on the Board of Directors.  A volunteer with the Boy Scouts for years, David enjoys collecting coins, canoeing and outdoor activities

Robert L. King - Clerk
Robert King is an insurance broker with Willis of New Hampshire. He has worked in the insurance industry for 27 years, and established the Gorham Insurance Agency in 1992. Bob received his BS degree from the University of Maine and advanced certifications from the insurance industry. In addition to serving on the board of Port Resources since 1996, Bob is also a member of Kiwanis International. Bob and his wife Jean live in Gorham where he enjoys landscaping for too few months and reading and strength training during the rest of the year.

Joel Bassett - Treasurer
Joel is a founding partner of and CPA with Dawson, Smith, Purvis & Bassett in Portland. He served in the US Army before attending the University of New Hampshire and was a member of the US Army National Guard for eight years following graduation. Joel joined the board of Port Resources in 1996. He served as a board member of Habitat for Humanity, Greater Portland from 1991 to 2001, eventually becoming board chair. An avid mountain climber and runner, Joel lives with his wife Kimberly and son Jack in Cape Elizabeth.

Becky McKinnell - Fund Development Chair
Becky McKinnell is a leader of the next generation of internet marketers and is the President of iBec Creative. Based in Portland, Maine, iBec is the partner businesses turn to for internet strategies that help convert website visitors into long-term relationships. Known for her fresh ideas and powerful designs; Becky brings a technically-savvy and fresh sense to marketing design and the application of multi-media.  In her free time she enjoys surfing, boating, and skiing.

Sally Leahey
Sally is the Reference and Young Adult Services Librarian at McArthur Library in Biddeford. She began a second career in libraries after working as a social worker and childcare administrator for 15 years.  In 2001 she received her Masters in Library Science from the University of Rhode Island on the same day that her son graduated from Boston University.  In addition to serving on the board of Port Resources, which she joined in 2003, Sally is a volunteer with the American Library Association and the New England Round Table of Children's Literature. She has also done volunteer work for The Maine Children's Trust, Tri-County Mental Health, the Franklin County Children's Task Force, and the Maine Youth Center. Sally and her husband Mike have an adult son and live in Portland.

Ann Lee Hussey
Ann Lee Hussey is a Veterinary Technician who resides in South Berwick, ME with her husband, Michael Nazemetz, DVM.  They own Village Veterinary Clinic in Rollinsford, NH just across the border from South Berwick.  Internationally, Ann Lee is Chair of the Polio Survivors & Associates Rotarian Action Group, serves on the Rotary Reach Out to Africa Service Associates Subcommittee as a Functional Coordinator for Health Initiatives and as Rotary Zone 32 Health and Hunger Coordinator. Locally, Ann Lee is a member of the Rotary Club of Casco Bay Sunrise in Portland and will serve District 7780 as their Governor for 2010-2011.  In the past she has served her hometown on the Planning Board and Board of the South Berwick Community Food Pantry.  She is currently enjoying her fifth year as a Trustee on the Board of York Hospital. Ann Lee strongly believes one person can make a difference and that it is a privilege and a gift to do volunteer work.

Brett D. Witham
Brett, a partner at Verrill Dana, joined the Port Resources board in 2010.  Brett is a member of Verrill Dana’s Health Care Group and the Health Technology Group and represents health care providers in Maine and Massachusetts in a broad array of regulatory and transactional matters.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Maine Maritime Academy and completed his law degree at the University of Maine School of Law.  In his spare time Brett enjoys skiing, hiking and performance rallying racing
