In adopting one of our homes throughout southern Maine, you will help create the stability its residents critically need to lead productive, happy lives. With no hospital or institution to serve their needs in Maine, they literally have no place else to turn. Port Resources is a non-profit agency dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities. We operate over 20 small community-based homes in Cumberland and York Counties serving more than 100 residents. With public funding dwindling dramatically, our Adopt-A-Home Program has become essential to support:
